Embrace the spectacular contrast of the city between the old world historical culture and the new world complexity, diversity of cultures, energetic nightlife and captivating art scene. Tease your taste buds with Kuala Lumpur’s extremely diverse cuisine from upscale dining venues to the side street eateries of the city. Be enthralled by the diversity of the architecture of historic and contemporary landmarks and gleaming skyscrapers. In total contrast, the island of Langkawi’s outstanding natural land and seascapes have earned it the status of a World Geopark. The plants in the island’s rainforest provide an abundance of fragrances and lotions and the locals are adept at using flowers, fruits, sap, bark, leaves and roots for their traditional medicinal properties. ### Long haul, adventure, relaxation - Direct flights - GMT +8hr - 13hrs from LON - Best in Winter and Summer ## In Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi, you must - Explore the city of Kuala Lumpur on the back of a Harley Davidson - Learn the ancient art of Tai Chi in one of the beautiful parks in Kula Lumpur - Take to the cable cars in Langkawi and admire the stunning views and surroundings - Enjoy a private tour of the Batu caves waterfalls and hot springs - Indulge in some luxury cuisine and shopping at the Pavilion mall in the city - Take in the view over a cocktail at exclusive roof top Marinis - Discover the many islands of Langkawi by jet ski or kayak - Spot the exotic Mangrove wildlife by boat - Walk across the famous Langkawi Sky Bridge to take a holiday photo like no other ![Sophie Darbon](https://www.penguins.co.uk/hubfs/Design_By_Blend/About%20Us/Team/Sophie.png) #### By Sophie Darbon Sophie began her career in events back in 2010 after graduating from Bournemouth University with a BA in Events Management.
