Canada is a complete treat for all, but especially so for the intrepid traveller. Banff is set in the foreground of the Canadian Rockies and the surrounding of Alberta continues to inspire with rugged and beautiful scenery. Banff is the ideal spot to make the most of Canada’s outward bounding nature, the National Park is just outside and numerous lakes (some more known than others) are an absolute must.
You will never feel far from nature during your stay in Banff, however the city life still buzzes for those party animals out there. Numerous events take place in the area during the summer including the Calgary Stampede, International Jazz Festival and the Fringe Theatre Festival.
