This [VIP trip](https://www.penguins.co.uk/blog/topic/rewards-incentives) needed to provide activities that could not be experienced by the lone traveller. #### Challenges • Delivering a more structured experience than previous years that would suit a varied group. • A group of veteran incentive attendees, activities should be new and exciting. #### Solution Sri Lanka, a country which is relatively new to the events and [incentives](https://www.penguins.co.uk/blog/topic/rewards-incentives) industry due to its historic political unrest, seemed the perfect solution. This captivating island has so much to offer, its unspoiled beaches and coastal planes roll into its forests and jungles which in turn rise up to the central mountain range. The landscape is almost as varied and exciting as the culture, history and energy the beautiful locals have to offer which made it ideal. In order to explore more of the island we chose to stay at two different boutique locations, utilising the travel between locations as an opportunity to explore the culture and heighten the feeling of adventure. The premium private travel options attendees experienced proved a massive hit. These included, the vintage "Viceroy Special" steam locomotive train journey where they travelled in the opulence of 1900's Sri Lanka, and jumping aboard a private jet which detoured to provide an aerial tour of this island paradise.
