The brief
The client wanted to reward all their sales staff with a luxurious trip to a premium short-haul destination. The client required this trip to take the same format as their previous excursion to Gstaad, however wanted new, fresh ideas for the agenda.
Challenges
- Short timescale for managing all the visas for attendees
- Ensuring that we engaged guests with new activities, different from their last incentive trip
- A new project manager took over the trip half way through the project, so we had to ensure the relationship and deadlines were maintained throughout
Solution
Following on from the highly successful and unique incentive trip the previous year, we decided to offer a destination that would work in complete contrast to offer a totally different experience. The trip took place during the ‘White Night’ season of St Petersburg in which the city never gets dark and therefore never sleeps!
Guests were treated to 5* luxury at the Grand Europe hotel. The guests enjoyed a dusk river tour, military helicopter transfers to the palaces of Pushkin, an exclusive private tour of the Hermitage and a private dinner at the impressive Stroganoff Palace, accompanied by a private intimate performance of swan lake by the famous Mariinsky ballet theatre.
