Handicapped Playground (Professional Services)
Our client had a clear idea what they wanted; a CSR event to improve an environment for young people, to do with education or arts. The event needed to obliterate hierarchy and have everyone from the directors and below to unify as a team and working on a project with one goal.
Scale
100 employees
Solution
The solution was to completely transform an area of dense scrubland on the East London Handicapped Adventure Playground (ELHAP) site, turning it into a wheelchair and BMX track for the handicapped children and youth club users.
The task at the start of the day seemed a steep one but through effective teamwork and a desire to achieve what they set out to do, the day was on overwhelming success, surpassing the expectations of the ELHAP staff, and providing a surprise treat for people who really deserved it.
We provided the following services:
- Sourcing of a variety of CSR project options
- Provision of all tools and safety equipment
- Full planning and logistical management of the task
- Management of all onsite crew and suppliers
- Stringent health & safety assessment, demonstration and briefing
- Full event management
Result
"Feedback from the ELHAP day has been extremely positive, with all levels of staff finding the day to be hugely rewarding as well as fun. We'd all like to thank Penguins for all their work, and a brilliant day!!!"
